Elite fume cupboards are recommended for the evacuation of fumes, fine dust and light particles from the work area to prevent contamination of the laboratory atmosphere.

What sets Elite fume cupboards apart from other low-flow fume cupboards is the addition of our patented Microclimate system, which acts in and around the fume cupboard to minimise the influence of external disturbances and increase safety and efficiency.

BECOME ST

The BECOME ST Low version for low ceilings can be installed in laboratories with a minimum height of 2,700 mm.

Fume cupboards
for specific uses.

These fume cupboards are designed for work with high thermal loads or strong acids (perchloric and hydrofluoric acid), fume cupboards with extractor hoods for solvents and fume cupboards for radioisotopes. Burdinola fume cupboards for concentrated acids and high thermal loads have specific construction, maintenance and safety characteristics as set out in part 7 of EN-14175.

BECOME AC

BECOME AC fume cupboards are designed for the manipulation of concentrated acids and high thermal loads.

They are recommended for the evacuation of aerosol fumes generated in reactions with concentrated acids handled in the work area, in order to prevent contamination of the laboratory atmosphere.

They are not recommended for use with hydrochloric acid, compounds emitting ionising radiation, large amounts of solvents, or pathogens.

BECOME ACF fume cupboards are designed for the manipulation of hydrofluoric acid.

They are recommended for the evacuation of aerosol fumes generated in reactions with hydrofluoric acid handled in the work area, in order to prevent contamination of the laboratory atmosphere.

They are not recommended for use with compounds emitting ionising radiation, concentrated acids with a high thermal load, or pathogens.

BECOME Perchloric Acid

The BECOME Perchloric Acid fume cupboard is designed and tested in accordance with the EN-14175 standard.

Recommended for the evacuation of perchloric acid fumes.

They are not recommended for use with compounds emitting ionising radiation, concentrated acids with a high thermal load, or pathogens.

  • Range manufactured under parts 2 and 7 of European standard EN-14175.
  • The design of the fume extractor hood ensures safety and operating objectives when handling perchloric acid and prevents dangerous levels of concentrations and deposits in the work area.
  • The cabinet interior is made from a single stainless steel sheet and has a sash made from 3 + 3 mm bi-laminate glass. It is fitted with a shower and a longitudinal sink to prevent the formation of explosive crystals in the work area.

Recommended for the evacuation of flammable solvent fumes from the work area to prevent contamination of the laboratory atmosphere.

Our fume cupboards for the manipulation of radionuclides emitting beta type ionising particles meet the requirements for handling high-energy radionuclides.

BECOME RB fume cupboards are recommended for low radiotoxicity.

The cabinet interior is made from fibreglass and polyester, with rounded corners to facilitate possible decontamination.

The front shield (mobile window) in 10 mm polycarbonate overlaps the work area to ensure safety.

They feature peepholes that allow user access without the need to open the cabinet vertically. They are not recommended for concentrated mineral acids, solvents or pathogens.

They have a set of three filters that combines an impregnated carbon filter with absolute filters and provides an efficiency of 99.99%. A fixed flow system and a frequency converter come as standard.

Our fume cupboards for the manipulation of radium isotopes are outside the scope of the normal fume cupboard standard.

Fume cupboards for use with radionuclides generating gamma type ionising emissions, for medium and high radiotoxicity.

The cabinet interior is made of fibreglass and finished in polyester, with rounded corners to facilitate possible decontamination. The radiation shield is reinforced against ionising radiation by the addition of a 2.5 mm thick layer of lead.

The front shield (mobile window) in 10 mm polycarbonate overlaps the work area to ensure safety.

IKASI

Fume cupboards for teaching purposes, designed for use in educational establishments. They make it possible to teach practical classes on how to use the cabinet and allow students to follow instructions safely and with high visibility.

Designed and tested in accordance with the UNE-EN 14175 and NFX 15-211 reference guidelines.

They are fitted with filtration technology and do not therefore require extraction to the outside. As they do not consume outside air, they are energy-efficient units.

They are designed as plug-in units that only require an electrical socket to operate.

As they are fitted with wheels and as their height can be adjusted, these fume cupboards can be moved from one room to another. Furthermore, they can be adjusted in height to adapt the height of the working position to the needs of each user.

IKASI fume cupboards have a start / stop switch, and it is possible to incorporate electrical and fluid services in their interior with external controls.
